Certainly Not A Secret, But Worth Knowing All The Same.

Fall is here. My days of summer dreaming are at an end and I long for the cozy, busy days that signal the swift approach of the holidays. I've been meaning to tell you so many things. I have been in the blogo-sphere admiring the handiwork of my friends. Silently, I've been sympathizing upon news of their sorrows and celebrating upon news of their joys. My heart is with you.

That being said, one of the first things I need to mention is a crazy good deal from Joann's. I did not mean to keep it from you (and you may already know), I just forgot. Regularly, I think even monthly, they put an entire brand of patterns (ie. Simplicity, Vogue, Butterick) on sale for $1.99 a piece. So, as soon as the Simplicity patterns went on sale, I bought each-and-every Built By Wendy pattern for a whopping $20.00. Normally, they would have cost $150.00, so I saved $130.00 !!!

That leaves a lot of money for fabric and I hope that someone out there finds this newsworthy or useful. Hugs. xox=vv.

Hey you! I've been wondering where you've been. Hope all is well.

And I love $1.99 sale on patterns. Especially since I went a little spending crazy.

If I sewed this would be fantastic news for me! Hehe, but over the years I have grown to hate sewings (sadly). I just don't have the patience for it.

It's good to see you blogging again Christine!

we've had numerous postal strikes here but I just miraculously got your lovely postcard, thank you honey bun. but... it doesn't sound like the book has reached you, and now i am worrying that i may have put your old address instead of your current one. Mr P did the actual posting and can't remember what I wrote. Do you have your mail forwarded just now, or have contact with the people who moved into your old place? Would they forward it??? I can't believe it took me a year, more even, and when I finally sent it (had a brit mix CD in it too) it doesn't get there.

Do let me know if it's all looking hopeless, I can burn the CD again and, believe it or not, I have another copy of the book (i bought 6 cause i love to give it as a gift to toddlers, AND A FAVE BLOGGER,WINK WINK). oops, caps.

BTW, your pattern deal is FANTASTIC. What a saving, I'm immpressed.

Take care, happy fall. Cxxx

That's awesome! My joanns, here in Virginia, did that once. For presidents weekend, they had all Simplicity patterns 5 for $5. Needless to say, I now have like 20 patterns that i haven't even broken into yet! These things will keep me occupied all through the summer!!
